Kuleba calls on G7 to consider a joint strategy for arms production and supply

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba took part in a ministerial meeting of the Group of Seven, where he proposed to consider a joint policy of arms production and supply. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

In particular, the Foreign Minister drew the attention of his colleagues to the priority of further military support for Ukraine and increasing the volume of joint production of weapons and ammunition in the interests of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and strengthening the defense capabilities of allies.

"It is time to create a common space of defense industries of the Group of Seven member states, the European Union and the EU candidate states. Defense industries are the muscles of the free world and we need to pump them up as soon as possible. This is what reality demands. I urge you to consider a joint policy of arms production and supply," Kuleba said.

The minister also recalled the successful International Defense Industries Forum, which took place in September in Ukraine and brought together more than 252 leading defense companies from more than 30 countries. He urged his colleagues to support active cooperation between defense companies from their countries and Ukrainian partners, promoting joint arms production.

Kuleba also expressed support for the further development of Ukraine's "Peace Formula" and condemned the supply of weapon from North Korea to Russia, emphasizing the importance of restoring the principles of the United Nations and creating effective mechanisms for conflict prevention in international relations.
