Russians strike at Ukrainian TPP: equipment damaged

Russian troops attacked one of Ukraine's thermal power plants. The plant's equipment was damaged, DTEK reports.

The Russians attacked the TPP on Tuesday evening, November 7. A thermal power plant in the frontline region came under fire. According to DTEK, no one was injured in the attack.

"The plant's equipment was damaged. Power engineers are making every effort to eliminate the consequences of the shelling," the statement said.

It is worth noting that after almost six months of pause, the Russians started shelling energy facilities in Ukraine again. At the beginning of autumn, Russian shelling damaged the power grid in Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi regions.
