Cyprus has joined the G7 Vilnius Declaration, becoming the 30th country to express its support for security guarantees for Ukraine. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the social network X.

Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Republic of Cyprus for their accession to the Vilnius Declaration of the Group of Seven on security guarantees for Ukraine and noted that it was an important step in strengthening the security of our country.
He also expressed gratitude to President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides for this step in support of Ukraine and promised further deepening of cooperation between the two countries to strengthen European security.
