The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to launch a comprehensive and accessible English language learning program. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the presentation of the national program to promote the English language.
"The government plans to launch a comprehensive and accessible English language learning program. It is open to everyone, regardless of financial status or place of residence. With an individual approach and open access to educational resources," Shmyhal said.
According to the head of government, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier submitted to the parliament a bill that officially establishes English as a language of international communication in Ukraine.
"Ukrainians who speak English already have advantages in the labor market. This includes higher salaries, more career opportunities, the ability to develop faster and, if necessary, acquire a new profession," he emphasized.
