Poland has sent specialists from the Polish Arms Group (Polska grupa zbrojeniowa) to Ukraine to repair military equipment handed over by Warsaw near the front line, PAP agency reports.
"We have to perform tasks at the Russian artillery training ground, but what the Ukrainians are doing cannot be compared even with the word 'courage'. We work in Ukraine, observing safety rules and trying not to arouse the interest of the opposite side, because we need to have something to return there for," said the head of the technical team.
They are servicing, among other things, Krab howitzers, Leopard tanks and ammunition transportation vehicles on Jelcz truck chassis supplied by Poland.
Minor equipment malfunctions are repaired on the spot, serious problems are repaired in workshops in Ukraine, and the most damaged vehicles are sent to Poland.
