Hungarian veto on EU aid: Orban demands talks with Ukraine

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said that he wants a Ukrainian delegation to visit Budapest before approving aid from the European Union. He said this before a meeting of EU leaders in Brussels.

When asked by journalists what to expect next in the matter of 500 million aid for Ukraine, Orban said he was waiting for the Ukrainian delegation.

"We are waiting for the Ukrainian delegation to arrive in Budapest to negotiate on this. We are open and ready to negotiate," Orban said.
