The EU foreign ministers failed to agree on the allocation of a 500 million euro tranche from the European Peace Fund for military assistance to Ukraine. This was reported by Radio Liberty's Brussels correspondent Rickard Jozwiak.

He said that an agreement on Ukraine's eighth tranche of 500 million euros from the European Peace Fund has not yet been reached because of Hungary's position.

Earlier, Hungary blocked this decision because Ukraine added OTP Bank to the list of international war sponsors.

"The Hungarian OTP Bank has been removed from the blacklist of companies that continue to operate in Russia, but Budapest wants legal guarantees that this decision is permanent," Jozwiak wrote.
