Israel is ready to cancel the ground operation in the Gaza Strip if all hostages are released and Hamas militants surrender. This was reported by the international representative of the Israeli Defense Forces, Jonathan Conricus, in an interview with ABC.

"If Hamas comes out of its hiding places behind Israeli civilians, as it is doing now, returns our hostages - all 212 of them - and surrenders unconditionally, then the war will end. If they don't, we will probably have to go in and do it," Conricus said.

He also noted that the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip has been postponed, but did not explain the reason for the delay, emphasizing only that Israel "will completely destroy Hamas."

Conricus emphasized the importance of maintaining human morale in this situation and added that Israel does not consider it necessary to provide food to an enemy that attacks civilians and launches rockets.
