Russian troops will start patrolling the airspace over the Black Sea with planes carrying "Kinzhal" ("Dagger") missiles. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"On my instructions, the Russian Aerospace Forces are launching regular patrols in the neutral zone of the airspace over the Black Sea," he said.
According to Putin, enemy MiG-31 aircraft should be armed with "Kinzhal" systems, which have a range of more than 1,000 kilometers.
