On the night of October 18, Russians launched six missile attacks on the territory of Zaporizhzhia. One of the strikes hit a multi-story building in the city center. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko.
Two people were killed and three others were injured. It is known that three people are considered missing.
In a multi-storey residential building, the strike destroyed the entrance from the fifth to the third floor. Eight apartments were damaged, and 50 residents were evacuated.

The strike partially destroyed apartments in two entrances of a multi-storey residential building. The State Emergency Service reported two dead and three wounded. They also reported that the fifth to third floors of the building were damaged.
On Sobornyi Avenue, between Svobody Square and Transportna Square, bus and trolleybus traffic has been suspended. Also, trams are temporarily not running to Zaporizhzhia-1 station and Ivanova Street, according to acting mayor Anatoliy Kurtev.
In total, police received 33 reports of destruction of buildings and infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia, Pologivskyi and Vasylivskyi districts over the day.
