"At night, the aggressor attacked the region with missiles. One was shot down by the military from the "East" military group. Another hit the territory of Dnipro district," Lysak said.
Moreover, Russians shelled Nikopol district five times with heavy artillery systems and Grad multiple rocket launchers.
As a result of the shelling in Nikopol, two shops, two cafes, a private enterprise, a religious building, a transport facility and a public garden were damaged. A five-story building, three private houses, an outbuilding, cars, a bus stop, a gas pipeline and four power lines were also damaged. Almost 1,500 families were left without electricity, Lysak said.
In Marhanka, two residential buildings, a religious facility and power lines were damaged, but there were no casualties.
