Russian troops shelled Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region on the morning of Friday, October 13. The shelling destroyed two buildings, killed one person and wounded 12 others. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"This morning, the Russians attacked the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region," the statement said.
According to preliminary information from the rescuers, as of 10:00 a.m., 1 person was killed and 12 were injured, two administrative buildings were partially destroyed.
"3 people were rescued from the rubble by units of the State Emergency Service," the SES added.

In Pokrovsk, a rocket hit the Department of Social Protection. According to the head of the department, Irina Bonzyukh, 51 people were in the building at the time of the strike.
One person was killed and 13 others were injured.
