President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is preparing for a working visit to Romania, which may take place next week. This was reported by the Romanian TV channel Digi24.
The source claims that "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit to Romania next week." This will be the first visit of the Ukrainian president to Romania since the beginning of Russian military aggression in Ukraine.
It is noted that Zelensky's visit to Romania is not part of a multi-country tour, but is a separate event during which the Ukrainian president will meet with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and other high-ranking officials.
Interestingly, earlier, in an interview with Digi24, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal also announced this visit, saying that President Zelensky "will soon visit Romania."
It is worth noting that the presidents of Ukraine and Romania already met on October 5 on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Granada, Spain.
