The German defense concern Rheinmetall has provided Ukraine with additional SurveilSpire systems to detect and combat drones. This was reported by the concern's press service on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
"The order is in the two-digit range of millions of euros. The order was made by the German government. Delivery of the systems has already begun," Rheinmetall said in a statement.
It is noted that the company won a new tender to supply the Armed Forces with such systems. The complex includes a mobile tower with day and night vision cameras, manned drones and a control system. The kit also includes vehicles.
