Ukraine will start the winter heating season using only its own gas for the first time

For the first time in its history, Ukraine will go through the winter heating season using only domestically produced gas. This was announced by Naftogaz of Ukraine.

The head of the company, Oleksiy Chernyshov, announced this and expressed his belief that the country will cope with the heating season without any sharp changes in the cost of natural gas for the population.

He also urged citizens to take energy-efficient measures and use Ukrainian gas responsibly as an important resource.
