Poland is preparing to complete the construction of an electronic barrier on the Polish-Russian border in the coming months. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland, Mariusz Kaminski, during a broadcast on Polish TVP1.
The new electronic barrier will cover the entire Königsberg region and is expected to be launched "in September and October." This development will allow full monitoring along the entire length of the Polish-Russian border.
It is also planned to install an electronic fence along the Bug River, which crosses Poland's eastern border, and a tender for this task is currently being organized.
