In the near future, the Swedish government will instruct the Armed Forces to analyze the possibility of transferring Gripen fighters to Ukraine. This was reported on Ekot radio.
It is noted that the government wants to receive information on how the provision of aircraft to Ukraine will affect Sweden's defense capabilities and how quickly the state will be able to receive new Gripen as compensation.
In addition, the government is obliged to develop a plan to train Ukrainian pilots and ground staff to use these aircraft.
