Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who was recently awarded a new military rank, said that Ukraine is actively working on a possible exchange of prisoners in the "all for all" format. He said this while participating in a telethon.
"The process of exchanging prisoners of war is still ongoing. There are some technical difficulties. I believe it is due to the not quite correct position of the Russian Federation. But we will overcome this," the head of the DIU noted.
According to Budanov, Ukraine is now as close as possible to a possible agreement on the exchange of prisoners "all for all," and he is confident that Russia will sooner or later make a favorable decision.
"We just need to find the right ways to regulate this moment," he added.
