Russia could have created complex labyrinths on the second line of defense, - speaker of the Defense Forces

Oleksandr Shtupun, a spokesman for the Tauride Defense Forces, said in a telethon that Russia could have created complex networks of labyrinths on its second line of defense. Russia had a whole year to do so.

"It (the second line) is quite powerful. I don't know why everyone thinks it is weaker. Yes, the density of minefields there is lower, but their number is also quite large. The only thing that can play into our hands is that the trenches, trenches and overlaps are not as strong," Stupun emphasized.

Earlier, the commander of the Tavria group, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, said that the Ukrainian armed forces had broken through the first line of defense of Russian troops in the south and expected that "it should be easier from now on."
