The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has allegedly received a draft law from the president's representative in parliament, Fedir Venislavsky, which refers to the cancellation of the right to deferment from mobilization for students receiving second, third and subsequent education. Venislavsky stated this during his participation in the telethon.
"Based on information from the Ministry of Education and Science, we see that in 2019, 2020, and 2021, the number of students aged 25 and older who postponed service was about 40 thousand people. In 2022, when the full-scale war began, this number increased to 106 thousand. This year, the numbers are about the same - about 100 thousand people," the People's Deputy said.
In this regard, he noted that he had adopted and registered a draft law according to which those who decided to get a second education after reaching the age of 30 will not have the opportunity to use the right to deferment from the draft.
This draft law has not yet appeared on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada.
