Zelensky: Deoccupation of Crimea is possible by military or diplomatic means

The task of deoccupying Crimea can be solved through diplomatic or military means, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the opening of a business forum in Italy via video link, In Terris reports.

The head of state noted that the final decision depends on the enemy's behavior and stressed that without the complete deoccupation of Crimea, Donbas and other Ukrainian territories, there can be no stable peace in Ukraine and Europe. Ukraine, like other civilized countries, will never recognize Russia's occupation.

Zelenskyy stated: "This can be resolved diplomatically or militarily (the issue of Crimea's liberation - ed.). Russian troops should leave the peninsula without further pressure, this will save lives."

It is worth noting that earlier Zelenskyy hinted at a possible dialogue with Russia after the Ukrainian military reached the border with Crimea in an interview with Natalia Moseychuk.
