The Russian army suffered serious losses with more than 320 wounded and killed servicemen. During the day, Ukrainian troops in the Tauride direction carried out about 1,200 fire attacks and destroyed 34 units of Russian military equipment. This information was provided by the Joint Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces via Facebook.
According to the report, four tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, three artillery systems, as well as mortars, multiple rocket launchers, 16 vehicles and two units of special equipment of the enemy were destroyed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also successfully neutralized three control points and two ammunition depots of Russian troops. The enemy suffered losses of 326 killed and wounded servicemen, and another occupier decided to surrender.
On August 28, Russian troops carried out 21 air strikes, fired 578 times at Ukrainian positions using tanks, multiple launch rocket systems and artillery, and fought 17 combat engagements at the front.
