A politician from the "Alternative for Germany" party was the victim of an unpleasant incident during which an unknown person smeared feces on her.
The incident took place in the city of Daun in western Germany, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Beatrix von Storch, a member of the right-wing party, was speaking at an event, and outside the building where she was speaking, a protest against the "Alternative for Germany" party was taking place.
The protester entered the hall where von Storch was speaking and began pretending to take a photo with the politician. However, he had a bag of feces in his pocket, which he used to smear on von Storch's stomach. After that, the attacker was detained at the exit of the building.
Beatrix von Storch herself commented on the incident to journalists, calling it "disgusting." She has already contacted the police and filed a complaint, initiating an investigation into the incident.
