The Ukrainian armed forces may have broken through the first defensive line of Russian troops in the south, particularly in Zaporizhzhia region. This was stated by US General Mark Milley in an interview with AlmamlakaTV.
Milley said: "There are increasing signs that Ukrainian troops have broken through the first line of Russian defense in part of the southern front line in Zaporizhzhia region and are expanding the wedge towards the strategically important city of Tokmak."
The general also added that currently "several Russian military bloggers are painting a gloomy picture on the frontline for their troops in some parts of the south."
