The United States will expedite permitting other countries to transfer their F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, according to a discussion that took place in a phone call between Presidents Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The White House confirmed that the topic of expedited authorization for other nations to transfer their F-16s to Ukraine was covered during this conversation.
"President Biden and President Zelensky discussed the start of training for Ukrainian fighter pilots and providing expedited approval for other nations to transfer their F-16s to Ukraine after the completion of training to improve Ukraine's defense capabilities," the statement said.
