On Friday, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia. Information about the destruction and casualties is being clarified, says Yuriy Malashko, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration.
"The enemy launched a missile attack on one of the districts of the regional center. The scale of destruction and the number of victims are being clarified," Malashko said.
Anatoliy Kurtev, Secretary of Zaporizhzhya City Council, also confirmed the attack, reporting damage to windows in several buildings and minor damage to educational institutions.
"Specialists from the district administration and Zaporizhremservice are conducting an examination to determine the amount of damage to the buildings and to carry out work to eliminate the consequences of the strike," he said.
There is no information about the victims, but details on this issue are being clarified.
