President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree terminating the powers of all regional military commissars. The document was published on the president's official website.
This action was the result of the National Security and Defense Council's decision of August 11.
According to this decree, experienced officers who have been through combat at the front will be appointed as new military commissars. This decision is aimed at further strengthening and optimizing the military command and control system in the country.
