After the missile attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the bridge in Chongar, which took place on August 6, traffic on it has been resumed. This information was reported by former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev.
It is worth noting that this bridge is the shortest way to Crimea from the annexed regions of mainland Ukraine.
As a reminder, the bridge was severely damaged as a result of the attack, and part of its structure was deformed. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the bridges in Chongar and Henichesk were targeted because they served as important communication routes for Russian forces.
