Today, the first ship left Odesa port through the temporary corridor, announced the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The Hong Kong-flagged container ship JOSEPH SCHULTE, which has been in the port of Odesa since February 23 last year, has left Vorontsov Lighthouse and is heading for the Bosphorus. The vessel is carrying more than 30,000 tons of cargo, including 2,114 containers, including food products.

According to the MarineTraffic portal, the vessel is near Odesa and is heading to a Turkish port. It is expected to arrive there tomorrow morning.

This corridor was created primarily to evacuate ships that have remained in the ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa and Pivdenne since the start of hostilities.
