The situation in Zaporizhzhia remains tense after the shelling that took place early in the morning on August 10. According to the latest information, the number of victims increased to three people, and nine more people were injured.
In a statement, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko, reports that a 43-year-old man and two young women aged 19 and 21 were killed in today's shelling. An 11-month-old child is also among the wounded.
According to information provided by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Klymenko, another woman died in hospital in the morning.
Currently, there are 9 wounded in hospitals, one of whom is in serious condition.
In addition, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported another incident: in Zaporizhzhia, a 12-square-meter outbuilding located on the territory of a church caught fire. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire and inspected the damaged buildings.
Together with the employees of the State Emergency Service, volunteers of the rapid response unit of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, as well as employees of communal services and the emergency rescue service, took part in the rescue operation.
