According to ABC News, the Security Service of Ukraine has detained a woman involved in an alleged plot to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelensky. The resident of Mykolaiv is being interrogated. According to official sources, she was involved in planning an assassination attempt on Zelensky during his visit to Mykolaiv region last week. 


According to Ukrainian officials, the woman intended to pass information about the president's location to Russian forces, including specific places in Mykolaiv region that he was going to visit. It was assumed that this information could have been the basis for a Russian order for an air strike to eliminate the president.


ABC News believes that the detention and the woman's possible ties to foreign agents are a matter of serious concern in government circles. The investigation is in an active stage, and Ukrainian security services are taking all necessary measures to reveal the full picture of the conspiracy and identify all those involved.
