Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will pay a working visit to the UN headquarters in New York on July 17-18.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
As reported, on July 17, Kuleba will take part in the ministerial meeting of the UN Security Council regarding Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as in a high-level event timed to the 25th anniversary of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
On July 18, the Foreign Minister will speak at the UN General Assembly debate on the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In addition, Kuleba will hold a series of bilateral negotiations with foreign colleagues, the leadership of the United Nations Development Program, as well as with the group of permanent representatives of African states at the United Nations.
Security Council of the United Nations
As a reminder, the meeting of the Security Council will begin on July 17 at 15:00 (22:00 Kyiv time), the debate in the General Assembly - on July 18 at 10:00 (17:00 Kyiv time). The meeting will be chaired by British Foreign Minister James Cleverley, as the country chairs the Security Council in July.
It was previously reported that governments are considering how to mitigate the dangers associated with the emergence of artificial intelligence technologies that could change the global economy and international security landscape.
