Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in Vilnius for the first time since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Russia. He arrived on a Polish state plane.

Zelenskyi arrived at the Vilnius airport around 3:45 p.m.
Not only the president, but also the first lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska came to Vilnius.
This information was confirmed to journalists by the press secretary of the president Serhiy Nikiforov.
NATO summit in Vilnius
The summit of NATO member countries started today in Vilnius. Ukraine also participates in it.
Kyiv wants to receive an invitation to join the Alliance at the summit. At the same time, Ukraine understands that it can become a full member of NATO only after the end of the war with Russia.
At the same time, the Lithuanian ambassador to NATO, Deividas Matulonis, believes that Ukraine will not receive an invitation to NATO during the summit. However, it will define a clearer procedure under which conditions Ukraine can receive it.
In addition, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda stated that the specific mechanism for Ukraine's accession to NATO should be specified at the summit.
In addition to the invitation to NATO membership, Ukraine wants to receive security guarantees from the West for the period until it becomes a full member of the Alliance.
