Due to the fire at the capital's gas station, where a car crashed on the weekend, criminal proceedings have been opened. This was reported on Monday at the GUNP in Kyiv.
"Investigators of the Kyiv police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of the rules of road traffic safety or operation of transport by persons who drive vehicles," the message says.
A number of examinations have been appointed to establish the circumstances and mechanism of the accident.
The pre-trial investigation continues.
On July 9, a fire broke out at a gas station in Kyiv due to a road accident. According to preliminary data, the driver of the Audi, born in 2002, lost control and crashed into a column at the gas station, which caused a fire.
As a result, three people, including the car driver and passenger, as well as the gas station operator, received burns of varying severity. Doctors hospitalized them.
