The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, will pay an official visit to Slovakia after visiting Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.
The President of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel.
It is planned that the Ukrainian leader will meet with the President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova, Prime Minister Ludovit Odor and Chairman of the National Council Borys Kollar in Bratislava.
"Together with our reliable neighbor, we are talking about specific defense support and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, the NATO summit and the peace formula, bilateral cooperation, energy security," Zelenskyy wrote.
Visit to Bulgaria
Zelenskyi visited Bulgaria's capital Sofia on July 6. There he held talks with President Rumen Radev, Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov, as well as government officials, parliamentarians, politicians and journalists.
A Joint Declaration on the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine was also signed in Sofia.
In addition, Zelenskyі publicly criticized his Bulgarian colleague Radev for his position on the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.
Visit to the Czech Republic
In Prague, Zelenskyi met with President Pyotr Pavel and Prime Minister Pyotr Fiala.
In particular, the Czech Republic announced assistance to Ukraine with the training of F-16 fighter pilots and decided to donate attack helicopters.
In addition, Prime Minister Fiala noted that Ukraine can count on the voice of the Czech Republic in supporting the aspiration to join the Alliance.
