The first meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council - a new format of cooperation between Kyiv and the Alliance - will take place on July 12, on the second day of the organization's Vilnius Summit.
This follows from the official program of the summit, which is at the disposal of "European Truth".
It is noted that the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council "at the level of heads of state and government, including Sweden", will be held on July 12 at 1:00 p.m.
It will be opened by a public opening speech by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The announcement and in particular the indicated participation of "heads of state and government" means that, most likely, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi will be personally present at the NATO summit in Vilnius.
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced last month that Ukraine and NATO will replace their current format of official meetings in the form of a Commission with a new format of the Council at a summit in Vilnius in July or later.
The Secretary General of the Alliance also noted that NATO aims to hold the first meeting of the new body of cooperation with Ukraine - the Ukraine-NATO Council - at the Vilnius Summit in July.
