The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly recognized Russia as a sponsor of terrorism

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly recognized Russia as a sponsor of terrorism. Also, PMK "Wagner" was recognized as a terrorist organization.

 This was announced on Facebook by Yevgenia Kravchuk, the deputy head of the "Servant of the People" parliamentary faction.

 At the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vancouver, a final declaration was adopted, which, in particular, says that:

 terrorism is one of the biggest threats to international peace and security;

 the actions of PMC "Wagner" on behalf of the Russian government can be rightly characterized as terrorist. At the same time, it is emphasized that the Russian dictator personally admitted that the "Wagnerians" were "fully financed" by the state;

 OSCE member states should take measures against PMC "Wagner" and its affiliated and successor structures, including by declaring them a terrorist organization.

 In addition, the OSCE PA in the document calls on member states to strengthen international norms that clearly recognize: the terrorist nature of the "Wagner" PMC and its actions, as well as the responsibility of the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of this terrorist organization. In addition, the inadmissibility of involving such subjects in interstate relations is emphasized.

 "For the first time, such wording is fixed in an official document of an international organization," Kravchuk noted.

 PVC "Wagner"

 Russia used mercenaries of PMK "Wagner" in the war against Ukraine. At the same time, the Kremlin denied any direct connection with the mercenaries.

 Last week, however, Putin admitted for the first time that Wagner's PMC received state funding. In addition, Russian propagandist Dmytro Kiselyov recently stated that Wagner's forces received more than $9.8 billion in government contracts.
