On Saturday, July 1, Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez arrived in Kyiv.
Sanchez will meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
"I will convey all European solidarity to the government and parliament. We will support the Ukrainian people until peace returns to Europe," Sanchez said after arriving in the capital of Ukraine.
On July 1, Spain begins its presidency of the European Union, and Sanchez will visit Ukraine on the same day at Zelensky's invitation.
This is already the third visit of the Spanish prime minister to Ukraine after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. In particular, he visited Kyiv on February 23, and also came in April last year.
