According to the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak, based on the results of the first quarter, there will be a review and update of the Ukrainian memorandum and commitments. In the evening, it is very likely that the next tranche will be announced and the program will be updated with updated terms and goals.
"We hope that everything will be positive for us. We have also updated the clause with BEB," he added.
The Ministry of Finance published the Memorandum of the Government of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine with the International Monetary Fund at the end of last year. The memorandum has 23 pages and contains a number of sections. In particular, the program envisages measures to increase tax revenues and revive the domestic borrowing market, ensure long-term stability of the financial sector, curb monetary financing, as well as improve public administration and transparency of state institutions. There is also a section on anti-corruption institutions.
