Ukraine has every reason to receive a political invitation to join NATO at the Alliance summit in July.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
"There are all the grounds for a political invitation of Ukraine to the Alliance. There is a full understanding of security guarantees for Ukraine for the time until the moment of accession," he wrote.
The President noted that he is working together with the team so that the decisions of the summit in Vilnius become really meaningful.

Ukraine's entry into NATO
Ukraine realizes that it will be able to join NATO only after the end of hostilities. However, the state wants to receive a political decision regarding support for accession at the Alliance summit in Vilnius, which will be held on July 11-12.
The head of OP Andriy Yermak stated that the country is waiting for an invitation to NATO with an open date.
"Ukraine's position: the expected result is to receive an invitation to simplified accession at the summit in July." it is a bad signal to Russia that it can continue all the things it does in Ukraine every day," the head of the OPU emphasized.
At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, stated that the state's expectations from the Alliance summit have already been partially met.
In addition, Ukraine also wants to receive security guarantees from NATO members, which cannot be an alternative to membership. It should be noted that the Alliance is already considering several options for security guarantees for Ukraine.
