Kuleba named three conditions for the defeat of Russia in the war

In order for Russia not to win the war, international allies should, in particular, provide Ukraine with all the necessary weapons and strengthen sanctions against the aggressor state.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During his speech at the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU member states, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba named three conditions for the defeat of Russia. He noted that the coup in Russia clearly demonstrated the weakness of dictator Vladimir Putin's regime.

Now, for Ukraine to win the war, it is necessary:

Provide necessary military assistance to Ukraine,

Strengthen sanctions pressure against the aggressor country,

To demonstrate the determination of the actions of the international community to ensure the defeat of the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine and the establishment of a democratic world.

"Two events proved that Ukraine will win. In Berdyansk, Ukrainian teenagers Tigran and Mykyta sacrificed their lives to resist the occupation. In Russia, tanks marched on Moscow with little resistance. At the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, I called on the EU to hasten the defeat of Russia by increasing support for Ukraine ", Kuleba noted.

The minister noted that on Saturday evening we did not see the finale, but only a break in another act of destruction of Putin's vertical, because Russia is weakening every day.

According to him, it is now critically important:

  •  Provide Ukraine with all necessary weapons, primarily artillery systems, MLRS and shells and missiles for them,
  •  Strengthen international sanctions in the areas of nuclear energy, digital technologies, the sale of diamonds, maritime logistics and finance,
  •  Prevent Russia from launching missile strikes on Ukrainian cities, primarily through a global ban on the supply of dual-use goods to the Russian missile and drone industries.

The minister separately called on the US to speed up the process of training Ukrainian pilots and technicians and the transfer of Western-style aircraft to Ukraine: "Together, all these steps will allow the liberation of all Ukrainian territories."

He also welcomed the EU's decision to increase the budget of the European Peacekeeping Fund to 3.5 billion euros, which will help not only ensure stable supplies of military equipment for Ukraine, but also develop the Ukrainian-European alliance of defense industries.

 Coup in Russia

Over the weekend, the leader of the "Wagner" PMK, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the Russian troops hit his mercenaries in the rear and began a march on Moscow.

Mercenaries crossed the state borders of the Russian Federation and occupied military facilities in Rostov and Voronezh. The "Wagner" columns did not reach Moscow for about 200 km. On the evening of June 24, after negotiations with the leader of the Belarusian regime, Alexander Lukashenko, Prigozhin unexpectedly decided to end his rebellion and march on Moscow.

At the same time, ISW analysts believe that the rebellion in the Russian Federation showed the weakness of the Kremlin, and could cause significant damage to its efforts in its war against Ukraine.
