Kuleba met for the first time with the new head of the Foreign Ministry of Romania

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, and the Head of Foreign Affairs in the new government of Romania, Luminica Odobescu, held their first meeting on the sidelines of the conference on the restoration of Ukraine in London.

Kuleba said that the ministers discussed how to further develop bilateral relations in order to "realize their full potential" and thanked Romania for supporting Ukraine's future membership in NATO.

"I expressed Romania's full support for Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. We agreed to cooperate closely in all issues related to communication, energy, and national minorities. Romania supports Ukraine against the background of Russian aggression," Luminica Odobescu said.

It will be recalled that last week the government changed in Romania after the position of prime minister was taken over by Marcela Cholaku, the leader of the Social Democratic Party from the ruling coalition.
