Turkey has appointed a new ambassador to Ukraine, - Anadolu

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey has appointed a new ambassador to Ukraine. He became Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

 This was reported by Anadolu Agency.

 "Mustafa Levent Bilgen has been appointed ambassador to Kyiv," the publication reports citing diplomatic sources.

 New ambassadors were also appointed in Paris, Warsaw, Asuncion, Madrid, Moscow and other countries.

 The new ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine

 Ambassador Mustafa Levent Bilgen received his bachelor's degree in business administration from George Mason University's Faculty of Management in the United States. He also received a master's degree in the field of international business and transactions at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the same university.

 Bilgen started working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey in 1995. In 2007-2009, he was a special adviser to the Secretary General of the National Security Council, Tahsin Burjuoglu, and in 2009-2011, he was the founding Consul General in Toronto.

 From 2011 to 2014, he was consul general in New York, and from December 2014 to October 1, 2016, he held the position of ambassador in Abu Dhabi.

 Since 2017, he has been an adviser to the State Department of Turkey. From 2018 to 2019, he was an adviser to the Decommunization Commission of the House of Representatives on Foreign Affairs.

 The previous ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine, Jagmur Güldere, performed his duties since January 2019.
