The French president believes that the war in Ukraine has already turned into a strategic and geopolitical failure for the Russian Federation.

France will intensify the supply of military support to Ukraine to help the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces, President Emmanuel Macron said.

Macron said this at a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish President Andrzej Duda, Reuters reports.

"We did everything to help (the counteroffensive - ed.). We intensified the supply of ammunition, weapons and armored vehicles... We will continue in the coming days and weeks," the French leader said.

He also noted that the war in Ukraine is Russia's strategic and geopolitical failure. Macron considers it obvious that the Russians cannot conquer Ukraine.

"Ukraine defends itself with exemplary courage... Therefore, our unwavering support for Ukraine must continue: be it political, military, economic, humanitarian support, or assistance in reconstruction," the French president explained.

He assured that the Western allies will make sure that the Russian Federation loses the war and will not be able to repeat similar aggression. Macron is convinced that Ukraine's victory will contribute to peace and security on the entire European continent.

In addition, according to sources in the Pentagon, on June 13, the USA plans to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine with weapons worth 325 million dollars.

It also became known that the administration of the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, is likely to provide Ukraine with armor-piercing projectiles with depleted uranium.

This was reported by The Wall Street Journal with reference to sources.

The publication cites the words of a senior official of the Biden administration. According to him, it seems that there are no serious obstacles to the approval of the decision regarding such ammunition.

Raytheon Technologies, the manufacturer of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, plans to deliver five more air defense systems to Ukraine by the end of 2024.

As The Wall Street Journal writes, this was announced by the company's CEO, Greg Geis.

The Danish government supported the allocation of an additional two thousand artillery shells to Ukraine in the amount of about 250 million Danish kroner. This is reported by Jyllands-Posten with reference to the statement of Acting Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen and Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen after the meeting of the Foreign Policy Committee, where the government received support for folketing for donations.
