According to the media, the political scientist was attacked for his remarks against paramedic Mykhailova.
Former People's Deputy, political scientist Taras Chornovol had a fight with activists on June 13 in Kyiv. This is reported by UNIAN.
According to the agency, he was doused with an unknown liquid and green tea, and then thrown into a street waste container.
UNIAN writes that the fight was initiated by supporters of paramedic Alina Mykhaylova, who was a companion of the deceased leader of the Da Vinci Wolves battalion, Dmytro Kotsyubail.
On May 29, he published in Telegram a fragment of an interview with Mykhailo Ukrainian journalist Yanina Sokolova, where he called the paramedic a "semi-oligarchic scumbag", and was outraged that supposedly "green-cotton scum" were invited to broadcasts, while "honest people" were not allowed to say a word. Chornovil later deleted this message.
In a new post on May 31, responding to the criticism of Mykhailo's supporters, he stated that he was misunderstood. The ex-people's deputy wrote that he did not insult the girl, although he treats her badly. According to Chornovol, he was "attacked by bots on the network". He also accused Ukrainian journalism of bias.
Mykhailova replied to the former deputy on June 1.
"You are a disgrace to your father. You are not worthy of his name, legacy and memory," she wrote in Telegram.
She also noted that it is "time to educate people like Chornovil".
"You will explain the next similar comment about me, my friends or brothers in public, on camera and to us personally. I, unlike you, am responsible for my words. As far as I am concerned, I advise you not to check," the message reads.
