German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, together with four ministers, will present the country's national security strategy on Wednesday.
This was reported by a representative of the German government, writes "European Truth" with reference to Bild.
According to the representative, the strategy will be approved by the Federal Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.
Scholz will speak alongside Foreign Minister Annelena Berbock, Finance Minister Christian Lindner, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Home Secretary Nancy Feather.
It will be recalled that in the spring, the head of the German Defense Ministry, Boris Pistorius, admitted that the gaps in the Bundeswehr's armament cannot be completely closed by 2030, so it is necessary to determine priorities.
Meanwhile, the NATO Secretary General is pressuring Germany to accelerate the increase in defense spending to 2% of GDP.
Germany promises to increase defense spending to NATO level by 2025.
