In Kyiv, as well as in other cities of the country, residents report a lack of light. Specialists report on repair work and promise to quickly return electricity to consumers.
What is the reason for the outages?
As DTEK explained, the blackouts were caused by the activation of automation on the energy infrastructure.
"On May 30, from 1:28 p.m., there are blackouts across the country due to the activation of automation on the energy infrastructure. It was caused by a decrease in frequency in the unified energy system of Ukraine," the company explained.
It is noted that the reasons for the decrease in frequency are being investigated by "Ukrenergo" specialists.
As of 2:32 p.m., "Ukrenergo" granted permission to restore electricity supply.
Kyiv
In the capital, problems with light are recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi, Solomyanskyi, Svyatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, and Darnytskyi districts.
DTEK has already informed about repair work in the city center.
"Our power engineers are restoring the power supply to 15 houses on Institutska, Hrushevsky, Mazepa, Lipska, and P.Orlyk streets. The emergency shutdown occurred at 12:28 p.m. Specialists quickly went to the scene of the accident and immediately restored power to 33 homes without backup sources," DTEK reported.
According to energy experts, another 15 houses remain without power, they should be switched to alternative sources by 2:30 p.m.
After the backup switchover, specialists will start repairing the main equipment to ensure a reliable power supply scheme for the houses.
Meanwhile, problems with the movement of electric transport are already being observed in Kyiv.
According to "Kyivpastrans":
the movement of trams No. 1, 3, 14, 15 along the street is delayed. Heroes of Sevastopol,
the movement of trolleybuses No. 22, 27, 30, 42d along O. Dovzhenka Street is delayed.
The reason is called an emergency shutdown on the part of "Ukrenergo".
Brovary
The mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, also reported a partial lack of electricity.
"According to DTEK, as of 2:00 p.m., the lack of electricity supply in the settlements of the Brovarska urban territorial community is not related to emergency situations at local substations," writes Sapozhko.
According to him, specialists are currently working on solving the problem, and the timing of the restoration of electricity supply will be announced later.
Kharkiv
The light went out in some areas of Kharkiv and the region. There are problems with light in the Slobidskyi and Saltivskyi districts.
As explained in "Kharkivoblenergo", temporary outages are connected with the activation of protective automation.
"The outages are not related to the state and efficiency of the electrical networks of Oblenergo," said Maryna Shevchenko, spokeswoman of the enterprise.
Dnipro
An emergency power outage was reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In particular, the light disappeared partially in Pavlograd and Dnipro.
"Dear consumers! There are emergency power outages in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The voltage is still not being supplied to our networks," the CEC reported.
With regard to transport, four traction substations were left without voltage due to an emergency shutdown of electricity. Because of this, tram No. 11 and trolleybus No. 2 stopped moving. Trolleybuses No. 16, No. 19, No. 21 run to Cosmos Square.
Odesa
In Odessa, the light also went out in a number of houses in different districts.
In addition, according to local media, electric transport has stopped in the city. Meanwhile, DTEK reports an accident on the power line.
Poltava
There is also a partial lack of electricity in Poltava.
As the deputy chairman of the Poltava City Council Valery Parkhomenko explained, blackouts in the city are related to damage to the power grid.
Local residents are warned that the residents of the following buildings will be temporarily without electricity:
M.Sc. Gardens-1;
M.Sc. Gardens-2;
St. Pushkin;
St. Councils;
St. European;

Poltava City Hall also warned that due to damage to the power grid, trolleybuses may be delayed.
Sumy
Power outages are observed not only in Sumy, but also in the region. In addition, as explained in the local "Electroavtotrans", due to a voltage drop in the energy system of Ukraine, the feeder substations were disconnected in Sumy, so the trolleybuses were forced to stop moving.
"As a result, almost the entire contact network is de-energized in Sumy (with the exception of the section Kerameiya - Khimmistechko - Shistdesyatnikiv street). As of 1:55 p.m., trolleybuses were forced to stop moving," the carrier warned.
Communal buses continue to operate without changes.

According to available information from "Zaporizhjiaoblenergo", more than 46 thousand consumers were cut off in the regional center. Some consumers in the Zaporizhzhya district are also without electricity.
"At present, specialists of PJSC "Zaporizhjiaoblenergo" together with representatives of the transmission system operator "Ukrenergo" are investigating the reasons for the outage and are working on restoring the power supply," the company reported.
Kirovohrad region
The head of the Kirovohrad OVA, Andriy Raikovych, writes about failures in the energy supply network.
"Friends! Please keep calm. The light has gone out due to failures in the power supply network. The automation worked normally and reliably. In 30 minutes, the light will start to appear! I ask for patience and order!" - he wrote.
Local mass media report that the following communities are currently without power: Znamyanka, Novoarkhangelska, parts of Novomyrhorod and Dobrovelichkivska hromada.
According to Olena Danylchenko, spokeswoman for "Kirovogradoblenergo", there is automatic frequency unloading of the system in cities.
Vinnitsa
There were also problems with light in Vinnytsia and the region. However, the electricity supply has already been restored.
As the technical director of "Vinnytsiaoblenergo" Viktor Stepanets told "Suspilny", due to the decrease in the frequency in the network, the anti-emergency automatic system was activated.
"This means that there were probably some accidents in the power system that led to a short-term decrease. Now the situation has stabilized. There is light in Vinnytsia and the region," Stepanets said.
