The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding sanctions. The head of state signed the corresponding decree No. 307/2023 on May 27, the press service of the President of Ukraine reports.

 

 As follows from the decree, the sanctions were introduced at the suggestion of the Security Service of Ukraine.

 

 There are 220 legal entities and 51 individuals on the sanctions lists.

 

 All individuals against whom sanctions were imposed on May 27 are citizens of the Russian Federation. The restrictions include, in particular, the blocking of assets and restrictions on trading operations. They will be in effect for 10 years.

 

 The list of legal entities includes a number of Russian railway and logistics enterprises, as well as Minsk Automobile Plant, Vitebsk Radio Parts Plant "Monolit", Minsk Mechanical Plant named after Vavilov and other Belarusian and Russian enterprises. Sanctions against them were also introduced for 10 years.

 

 Zelenskyi has already repeatedly approved sanctions against individuals and legal entities associated with the aggressor country - Russia.

 

 The president signed the previous decrees on May 12. In particular, a 50-year restriction was introduced for 13 citizens of Armenia and 28 companies from the Russian Federation, Cyprus, the British Virgin Islands, Great Britain, Ukraine, the Bahamas, and Hong Kong (PRC); sanctions for 10 years against 32 citizens of the Russian Federation and 293 companies from the Russian Federation, Belarus and restrictions for 10 years against 176 citizens of Russia and 200 companies from the Russian Federation, Belarus.
