The NATO Secretary General's Special Representative holds meetings in Georgia

Javier Kolomina, the special representative of the NATO Secretary General for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, arrived in Georgia.

 The main topics of the meetings that the representative of the Alliance will hold in Tbilisi will be the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius (July 11-12) and issues about which Brussels has repeatedly expressed concern to the official authorities.

 According to SOVA, Kolomina has already held a meeting with the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, and the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili. The details of the meeting with the president are not disclosed.

 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia issued a message stating that the main topic of the discussion was Georgia's progress on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration. The parties discussed the practical assistance that Georgia will receive from NATO in the future.
