The United States of America announced new export restrictions against Russia and Belarus. Now it will be prohibited to import phones, voice recorders and household appliances into these countries.
The Bureau of Industry and Security of the USA wrote about this on its page.
"An additional 1,224 industrial products added to the list will now require a license for export or re-export and transfer within Russia and Belarus," the department's document says.
Tools and electrical appliances, photo paper and other paper products, paints, fabrics, boats and passenger transport, equipment for the food industry have been added to the list of export control measures.
The USA also imposed a ban on the import of a number of telephones, recorders, microphones and household appliances into the Russian Federation. The US Department of Commerce imposed sanctions on Russian defense industry enterprises. It is about NVP "Prima", NVO "Izhevsk unmanned systems", companies "Strela", "Rostvertol".
The Bryansk Automobile Plant, the Ural Plant, the Ural Civil Aviation Plant and the Ulan-Uden Aviation Plant came under the new restrictions.
Regarding these enterprises, additional requirements have been introduced for export, re-export and transfer agreements involving blacklisted enterprises.
What is an export restriction?
This is a restriction on the export (export) of goods to a certain country by the government. Such restrictions may be imposed if necessary to limit the spread of military or dual technologies.
Russia's attempts to circumvent sanctions

Before that, Great Britain introduced new sanctions against 86 Russians and companies. The list includes "Rosbank" and "Tinkoff Bank".
